Anzac day

Outside where the little poppy's flourish, were the Australia and New Zealand fighting soldiers. Exactly two weeks, and four days ago. The people of the long white cloud, spent one day to pay their respects and grateful thoughts, to the men and woman who fought for their country. Every single once in a while, on all sorts of special days, we rise together as family. But on that particular day, we all call it Anzac day, (April the 25th).

It's admirable and respectful fact that, many of the men and woman had lived to see their grandchildren rise, from birth to at least 18 years old. Others had fallen form being shot violently, and had landed on a poppy. I salute thee for being brave enough and taking the pain away from many who could have suffered, and in hopeful thought may they see the light of gods kingdom, to be freed from all the pain. Amen

Meaning that I am grateful for what they have done for me, and my future. They have blessed so many lives, so, I guess that's why our soldiers get one day to be admired. God bless, and rest their beautiful fighting souls.

Key Competencies For This Term

As you can tell, by what the title says, I'm going to be reflecting of my first term at school, and comparing that to what I have set forward for myself this second term. And also by reflecting I mean Key Competencies. So, I think I should probably start with self management.

Self management has never been easy, of course, but I guess it was because of the people I was peered with. Like sometimes, I would work while my team would play around, but hopefully it won’t be like that this term. That’s just group wise, but by myself I would say I'm okay. Not entirely perfect, but average, it’s probably something I should work on.

Relating to others. I am a people person, so, it’s easy to be myself and also be respectful to my peers. I treat each and every single one of my team mates with kindness and care. So I don’t think I would have a problem with that.

Thinking, as in problem solving. How I address problems, I always try and look at it critically. Weather it’s maths, writing, or even questions for reading, but mostly maths. Of course writing and reading are great, but maths has always pushed me to do better, and think harder. Meaning I go threw all sorts of zones and moods when it comes to my favourite subject, but surely I would have to work on the other two subjects and also have the same motivation, like the ones I have for maths.

Contributing and participating. All in all, I think I contribute and participate quiet equally, and I also share my ideas, with my peers. I wouldn't sit out of the group, and be lazy, not unless I feel unwelcome by them. Having that in mind, I think that it is because I don't open up o new people. So, I guess that is what I'll Have to work on. Besides that, I have to say I do a good job.

If you can highlight, and see what I have to work on then please list down below or write a comment if you may...

I like to move it, move it.

Immersion assembly is no ordinary assembly for the students, it's exciting and also has a fun purpose to it. Unlike any other boring assembly, this one actually captures the eyes of my classmates and I, and trust me it's a hard job to capture our attention. Being a senior and all.

Anyway. Immersion assembly also holds important information, which so happens to be telling us-(School),  what the theme for the term is. At first it can be exciting, until the teachers go into details. So, having that in mind means that I was frilled, but, yet again I got bored...but just in case you might what to know what my schools theme is... here it is.

I like to move it, move it.
I like to move it, move it.
you like to...MOVE IT!

Having that annoying, yet catchy, song in my head, it really does describe what the theme is, Sound. This term my class, along with the rest of team 5, is studying what seem like it, have sound can reflect off of walls and towards the person you're speaking to, which people would call vibration. Of course also having that in mind, means we are going to be learning about long, nerdy, words, which only brainy people would say...
